The mountains are calling
The Cordillera Huayhuash is considered by many to be the best most spectacular trekking circuit of the Andes. According to people who’ve visited both, Huayhuash outshines Patagonia. This could very well be the most impressive landscape of the world.
In the course of 10 days, we’ll hike the entire Cordillera. We’ll traverse passes at 5000 meters, camp near lakes guarded by the snow-covered peaks, and follow trails set by the explorers of forgotten eras. We’ll stop at places such as the Siulá Grande mountain, known from Joe Simpson’s epic mountaineering story ‘Touching the Void’ and we’ll wake up – slightly sleep deprived – in frost covered tents feeling more alive than we ever did.
